David McDonald is passionate about what he does.  It is his calling to serve the community as led by the HEAVENLY FATHER. 

 

David has  been cutting hair for over 32 years and has been licensed for over 24 years in various states.   He is licensed as both a barber and cosmetologist. David also holds licenses as a barber instructor as well as a cosmetology instructor.  Above the scope of barbering, he teaches individuals entrepreneurship skills, to not only survive, but also thrive in whatever field they are compelled to venture into. 

Some of David's past and present clients hold ranks as generals, colonels, chief master sergeants in the military along with professional boxers, basketball, football and baseball players.  He remains consistent in his profession while encouraging others about the importance of submitting to YAHUSHUA HAMASHIACH/JESUS CHRIST.

With no logical human reason, he and his family moved to Chicago-land from South Florida after hearing the undeniable instructions from God to do so.

He started spreading love through cutting hair for free up to four days a week for the last four years on the streets of Englewood in Chicago; which has been funded by faith.  He considers himself to be a private developer not only of the community but also of individual's heart, minds, and soul.  To date, David has not been funded by any group or organization(s).  Click here to support David McDonald with a donation.

He has also served at Warrenville Youth Facility (IYC) Warrenville, Illinois (a one year term) as the sole Volunteer facilitating the first ever barbering and cosmetology state dual program through Larry's Barber and Beauty College.  At which time the governor of Illinois J.B. Pritzker came to the grand opening and a year later to the graduation.  He also served as a barber at various detention centers. David McDonald has been recognized by Gov. J.B. Pritzker of Illinois and has been endorsed by former Illinois secretary of state Jesse White.

David McDonald has been gifted with a signed copy congressional record that was awarded to a chief master sergeant in the air force. David has also been gifted with a signed copy of a bronze star awarded to a colonel/orthopedic surgeon MD in the army who signed and personalized it to David as well as awarding David with a letter of recommendation from said colonel.
